What is the difference between CW (Continuous Wave) and Pulse Laser cleaning?
CW lasers (like this 2000W model) output a continuous beam, making them highly efficient for large-area rust removal and heavy paint stripping on steel structures. They are faster and more affordable. Pulse lasers use intermittent high-energy pulses, which are better for cleaning precise molds or thin materials without heat accumulation. For heavy industry, CW is the cost-effective speed champion.
Does the machine require any chemical solvents or gas?
No. The laser cleaning process uses only electricity. You do not need any chemical solvents, dry ice, or compressed gas (unless using optional air assist for specific finishes). It is an eco-friendly, plug-and-play solution.
What are the consumables?
The only regular consumable is the protective lens on the laser gun, which protects the internal optics from dust and sparks. It is inexpensive and easy to replace. The laser source itself has a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.
How do I maintain the water-cooling system?
Our 2000W machine comes with a built-in industrial water chiller. You simply need to use pure distilled water or deionized water and change it every 3 months. In winter or cold regions, we recommend adding standard anti-freeze to protect the chiller.
Can this 2000W machine clean wood or stone?
We do not recommend 2000W CW lasers for wood or historical stone artifacts, as the high continuous energy may cause carbonization or surface damage. This beast is designed for metals (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Iron, Aluminum) and heavily coated industrial parts.
