Is the weld strong enough for load-bearing guardrails?
Yes, absolutely. Our laser welding machine provides deep penetration (up to 3-4mm depending on power). The weld creates a metallurgical bond that is often stronger than the base metal itself. For outdoor guardrails and fences, it meets standard impact resistance and structural safety requirements.
Can it weld aluminum window frames without cracking?
Yes. Unlike traditional methods that overheat aluminum, laser welding uses concentrated heat. This minimizes the heat-affected zone (HAZ), preventing cracks and deformation. It is the ideal solution for 45° miter joints on thin-walled aluminum profiles.
My cutting isn't perfect. Can it handle gaps between parts?
Yes. All our machines come with an Automatic Wire Feeder. If your door or window frame assembly has gaps (up to 1.0mm-1.5mm), the machine automatically feeds filler wire to bridge the gap, creating a solid and smooth joint.
How long does it take to learn? Do I need a professional welder?
No professional experience is required. The operation is as simple as using a glue gun. A general worker can learn the basics in 30 minutes and become proficient in 1 day. This solves the headache of hiring expensive skilled welders.
What are the consumable costs?
Operating costs are very low. You only need:
Protective Gas (Argon or Nitrogen).
Protective Lens (Cheap replacement glass to protect the laser head).
Nozzle Tips (Copper tips). There is no need for tungsten electrodes or heavy grinding discs anymore.
Does it remove the galvanized coating on fence tubes?
Laser welding is fast and focused. While it does melt the coating at the exact weld point, the damage to the surrounding galvanized area is much smaller than MIG/TIG welding. We recommend a quick spray of zinc-rich paint on the weld bead for perfect rust protection.
